Jakub Kopeć is an editor, director, and post-production supervisor. A graduate of the Łódź Film School, he also teaches at the Krakow Film School and is a member of the Polish Editors Association.He has edited numerous feature and documentary films awarded at festivals in Poland and abroad. His credits include “W lesie dziś nie zaśnie nikt” and “Ostatnia Wieczerza” by Bartosz M. Kowalski, Madmen by Jan Jakub Kolski, and Radiostory by Maciej Hydr.The documentary My Country So Beautiful made it onto the Oscar longlist, and his most recent project as executive producer and editor, My Sister, won the top prize at the prestigious IDFA – International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. His latest film, 13 Dni do wakacji (13 Days Until Vacation), is set to premiere in cinemas on April 8. He has also worked on numerous commercials for brands such as Red Bull, Nissan, Monte Carlo, and House Solutions.
